Talk About A Home Tour
Welcome to Talk About Tuesday! If you are new, check out the Guidelines before posting.
The first Tuesday of every month is the Home Tour edition of TAT so please share something in or around your home. It can be an organized closet or room, a beautiful corner or garden. Inspire us!
Lovely, my three year old trouble maker, went on a little trip with her grandparents a couple weeks ago. This was good news for me as I was able to do some painting around the house without her under foot. The last time I painted she got more involved than I would have liked. She got into the paint and needless to say, made a big mess.
So I finally painted my kitchen island that I had made last October. Stranger cut out the door frame to fit it into the house in December. Here it is August and it is finally painted! Except for the doors because I ran out of paint but we aren’t using them anyway.

It’s amazing the difference a little color can make.

I also finished painting the frame around the oven cabinet. It’s about time I’d say.

The color looks odd next the the wall so I guess I need to paint it next!

I know I promised photos of the dress. You’re holding your breath, right? I took some today so I’ll post them tomorrow.
Happy Tuesday!

I love the color you used for your island. And from the pictures you posted your kitchen looks very clean and simple. I’d love for you to post pictures with wider angle views so we could see the whole thing in perspective.

I love the blue color you chose! What a pretty contrast to the rest of the kitchen. I’m kicking around the idea of painting my kitchen cabinets white and my island a color of some sort. Seeing what you’ve done is inspiring! Thanks!
